I live in a beautiful coastal town in County Wicklow surrounded by mountains. Life here is very different to my upbringing in busy, urban North West London.
Here I can enjoy fresh air and a friendly small town community.
I love visiting friends and family in London when I get the chance. It’s great to expose the kids to the vibrancy and diversity of a big city when they are used to collecting eggs and forest walks!
How I Can Help You?
Homeopathy is a gentle healing modality, by taking the whole person into account and looking at how you express your own individual illness.
The remedies are pleasant to take (children love them!) so no forcing or bribing involved. There are no invasive procedures involved just gentle, permanant cure.
Clients regularily report back to me that:
Children are more attentive and learning more in school.
Children feel more equipped to handle themselves in social situations with their peers.
They are experiencing less pain.
Sleep is improved and more refreshing.
Digestive issues clear up – diarrhea is resolved, less pain in the tummy, more regular and better formed stool.
Speech improves and the words come tumbling out.
As a mother of two young children I understand how hard it can be when something just doen’t feel right with your child. The doctors or dentists want to give certain medications or perform invasive procedures and you feel there must be a more gentle way to support the body through tough times. Homeopathy can play a vital role in strengthening the immune system and thus the level of health of an individual.
Homeopathy has helped my family and I in many a rough situation. I see a wonderful homeopath myself and find this support invaluable. The remedies I receive allow me to be a better mum.
I often treat the mothers of my young patients as many times the mother needs healing alongside her children.
If you are interested in taking the next step for your child and booking in an appointment I am here to help.
My Homeopathic Journey
I came to Homeopathy as a teenager. I was experiencing a very stressful time which presented as an awful, itchy, bloody rash on my arms which I had for months.
After numerous trips to the Doctor and prescriptions that damaged my stomach and didn’t help the rash I was advised, by a good friend to visit a Homeopath. Leaving her office with the little white pills I can’t say I had much faith…. but, within a week my arms were healed and clear with no scarring. It was just incredible, a total, miraculous cure!
I was intrigued and continue to be fascinated by the healing power of Homeopathy some 25 years later.
Having moved to Ireland in my mid 20s I decided to study this medical art at The Irish School of Homeopathy.
For four years I studied the laws of classical Homeopathy. I was taught how to take a patient’s case, how to analyse the information I had been given and how to prescribe the most fitting remedy from our vast Materia Medica.
Alongside studying the laws and methodologies of Homeopathy we were required to undertake a diploma in Pathology and Disease. Through this I became familiar with the systems and workings of the human body. I learnt about the natural progression of disease, symptoms to be aware of, conventional medications and interventions. This information is invaluable in my practice and I continue to build on this knowledge.
I graduated in 2010 and have been learning and practising ever since.
In 2012, I undertook my Post Graduate Course in Homeopathy.
I have regular Supervision, this is an integral part of my practice and so important when working in a healing capacity.
I am constantly updating my knowledge through CPD courses, webinars and personal study.
I am a registered member of The Irish Society of Homeopaths. This is the regulatory organisation in Ireland who set and maintain standards for professional Homeopaths.
